Concrete Estimator

Concrete Estimator Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.

- Develops bids for construction projects.

Single Source Systems builds pallet racking, conveyors, mezzanines, shelving, and other steel structures inside warehouses. Looking for motivated and responsible Foreman with a minimum of 2 yrs. of construction experience. Knowledge of warehouse material handling equipment installation preferred (Conveyor, pallet rack, mezzanines, etc.) We are looking for someone who can drive employees to meet quota on a daily basis. A foreman should be able to run the job efficiently and manage his employees efficiently at the same time. Crew size varies but is usually 4-5men.
Must be able to read blueprints and a tape measure. Must be able to manage a crew of 6 or more men. Installing structures typically used in warehouses and large retailers to store and display supplies and products. Warehouse Equipment Installers help build these structures for businesses in the specifications that are best suited to the size of the storage area and the type of product. As a Warehouse Equipment Installer, your job duties are to help receive the materials, then set up and install the equipment, to include modular offices, mezzanines, fencing and guard rails as well as creating all of the shelving units that make up pallet rack systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Conveyor Installation Foreman will lead the team on installing, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining the various parts of a conveyor system. This position will also include installation, dismantling, or moving machinery and heavy equipment according to plans. Performs prewiring of motors, photo eyes, sensors, measuring wheels, and terminates wiring at the control panel. Performs electrical start-up and troubleshooting as required.
Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of a Conveyor Installation Foreman requires physical fitness, above-average communication skills, above-average mechanical skills, and the ability to work overtime and weekends as required. The right candidate will have proven ability to lead crews both independently and within a team environment. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to motivate with positive reinforcement, the ability to troubleshoot installation issues, the ability to delegate, and pre-plan work schedules. Must have the ability to train and develop crew members. Duties and responsibilities include:

Pre-Engineered Metal Building Installer
Single Source Systems is seeking a highly skilled installer with at least 2 years of experience in steel erection and sheeting phases of pre-engineered metal building installation to serve as the primary steel connector or building sheeter on the project.
The ideal candidate should have experience erecting and installing pre-engineered metal buildings. The qualified candidate must be experienced in reading erection drawings and manufacturers’ installation manuals. Candidate must also be able to work as the primary steel connector, secondary steel connector, or building sheeter.
Qualified candidates must be able to work at a safe and productive pace while keeping up with the workload, follow all safety rules, be experienced in making all types of connections, and be able to rig structural components for setting.
Job Duties:
- Must be able to read architects’ plans in addition to following erection drawings and manufacturer’s installation manuals and specifications.
- Effectively erect pre-engineered primary and secondary steel.
- Must be able to work as a primary steel connector, secondary steel connector, or building sheeter and supervise these activities.
- Follows all OSHA 1926 safety guidelines as well as all job-specific safety programs.
- Efficiently follows job-specific lift plans, specific erection sequences, and specific bracing plans.
- Communicates effectively with project superintendent/foreman
- Unloading material as well as material shakeout and organization
- Must have extensive experience installing single-skin wall panels, insulated metal wall panels, standing seam roofs with various insulation systems, and metal decks.
- Effectively participate in and conduct safety training programs.

- Competent Fall protection installation and inspection are preferred.
